Hey, I'm Anna — the creator of Traveller.

I'm 23 years old and have been fortunate enough to travel to over 30 countries. Over the last four years I've lived in nine countries and visited many others, both as a solo traveller and with my boyfriend.

All this is to say that I've spent countless hours researching visa information, potential vaccinations, cultural customs, flights — the list goes on. I've always hated juggling separate tabs and apps, creating a packing checklist every time I go to another country. But it was fine — if that's what I have to do to travel the world, then so be it.

That all changed when I found myself receiving a phone call from my best friend. She was about to board her transit flight to Sri Lanka and was panicking. She had no idea if the visa she had obtained was the right one for her trip. I tried to calm her down and eventually she got to Sri Lanka, passed through customs, and started a four-month volunteering programme without a problem.

It got me thinking, though. This was her first time in Asia and she was understandably scared to be beginning the trip alone. The flights, visas, vaccinations — it was a lot for her to wrap her head around. And it was exactly why another friend of mine was scared to travel too. She had recently told me that not only was she scared of flying, but of all the admin work that comes with planning a trip.

That is when an idea started forming — what if there was an app that did this all for you? One that took all of the heavy lifting, so all you had to do was check off the requirements.

And so I made Traveller.

At first, Traveller was created for first-time backpackers. I knew everything they could possibly need — I had been in that position myself. As the app progressed, though, I realised that Traveller is suitable for everyone. Be it a business trip, a family holiday, or a weekend getaway, Traveller can help you every step of the way.

So, whoever you are and wherever you're going, Traveller has you back. I hope this takes you on many adventures through new countries and new cultures, and you'll travel stress-free the whole way.
