Best Time to Visit

May–October is the dry season — the best time for South Luangwa (walking safaris with Norman Carr's legacy), Lower Zambezi, and Kafue. Victoria Falls is spectacular all year but best accessed May–July before mist obscures views. October is very hot but wildlife concentrates at the Luangwa River.
